Meghan grew up feral in the wilds of Labrador – eating what her family hunted, running barefoot through the forest, and conversing with the trees. She spent her summers in Newfoundland, fascinated by the savagery of the ocean, roasting periwinkles on the beach, and devouring her Nan’s partridgeberry pies. She eventually took her love of everything ancient and magical to Calgary, where now lives between the whispering prairies and beckoning mountaintops.

Meghan writes in a variety of genres and her short fiction has been published by various magazines and presses, including the Antigonish Review, Coffin Hop Press, Prairie Soul Press, and Radical Books + Press. Meghan has spent two years as part of the Banff Centre Residency Program, currently teaches creative writing classes at the Alexandra Writers Centre Society, and is finalizing edits for her first novel.
